How to Play Premier League

Clue Types

• Age: Green means exact age match. Yellow means within 2 years. Any miss carries an arrow: up for older, down for younger.
• Country: Green means same country. Yellow means the same continent.
• Position: Green means exact position. Yellow means adjacent (GK, DEF, MID, FWD).
• Team: Green means same club. Yellow means the guessed player's club is in the same geographic region as the mystery player's club.
• Region: Shows the geographic region of the mystery player's club.
• Shirt #: Green means exact shirt number. Yellow means within 4. Any miss carries an arrow: up for higher, down for lower.

Where to open. No single country holds more than 31.8 percent of this pool, so a country guess does real work here. It is the cheapest way to cut the field on move one. 15.8 percent of the pool is 30 or over and 12.9 percent is 20 or under, so a guess in the mid-twenties leaves the age clue with the most to say.
